Jim grew up in the multiple kitchens of his grandparents, Vincenzo and Letizia Reale. Hours of gardening, canning, and the final preparation of so many incredible dishes from Letizia’s recipes graced the table. Letizia was the most incredible cook. To her family and friends, she was known as “Lisi.” For more than 40 years, Jim navigated the restaurant industry and established multiple restaurant concepts. At the same time, Mickey grew up as the last of eleven children, cherishing the huge family get-togethers celebrating food, family, and friends. They decided to bring their family, love of food, and rich experiences to the great Village of Pinehurst.
