Handmade by Heidi Sankey, Pinewild resident artist and golf enthusiast. This basket is named “The Longleaf Cupcake” due to its shape. It is made from dried green and brown Longleaf pine needles collected while golfing on the Pinewild Golf Courses. Other materials used are olive wood, waxed upholstery thread, turquoise-colored and multi-colored stones, and a pinecone embellished with moss (very delicate). The basket is also protected and preserved with a coating of natural bee wax for years of enjoyment. Every pine needle creation is unique and a one-of-a-kind piece. This art is signed and dated by the artist on the bottom of the base.
